FBI Texts Show Anti-Trump Bias

Fox News has obtained some 400 of the 10,000 text messages between FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. These texts show genuine anti-Trump bias by both federal employees. They also show clear favoritism towards Hillary Clinton. While federal employees are allowed to have their own opinions and political views, the troubling part is that Strzok and Page were so deeply involved in investigations of both Hillary and President Trump. Other reports indicate that Page, an FBI lawyer, may have been responsible for presenting a request from Strzok to a FISA Court for a surveillance warrant against the Trump campaign.

Strzok and Page were allegedly having an extra-marital affair during these investigations. When knowledge of the texts and their content came to the attention of Robert Mueller, Strzok was removed from the special counsel probe into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government. However, the damage may have already been done as the entire probe could be based on a phony document created by former MI6 officer Christopher Steele who was employed by Fusion GPS. This political opposition research company was being paid to uncover dirt on then Candidate Trump during the spring and summer of 2016 by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the DNC.

While most of the texts between Strzok and Page show a clear bias in favor of Hillary during the campaign, some are quite damning in their opinions about President Trump. One text in particular even may indicate that the two FBI employees may have conspired to prevent Trump from becoming President. Strzok handled the probe on Hillary Clinton′s use of a private email server in a rather soft way, giving those investigated ′special treatment′. Lies told to FBI agents by those questioned were brushed aside and Strzok even helped James Comey rewrite his memo clearing Clinton of any criminal charges.

On the other hand, Strzok went after Trump campaign personnel with great vigor. Michael Flynn was surprised in his White House office and was questioned without a lawyer present. Errors in his answers eventually led to his making a guilty plea for lying to FBI agents. But even well before that, the use of the Fusion GPS document may well be the only reason any sort of probe against the Trump campaign was started. Nothing in that document has been verified as true, and there is another matter about it to be considered. The Number 4 executive of the Department of Justice, Bruce Ohr, had met with both Christopher Steele and the Fusion GPS founder about the document in 2016. In fact, Ohr′s wife was employed by Fusion GPS during the election. Such a conflict of interest is another red flag casting a shadow of doubt upon the entire Trump-Russia probe.

There are a growing number of calls for all of these probes to be reviewed. A DOJ Inspector General is currently reviewing some of the issues causing concern. But the amount of evidence that several well-placed officials in both the FBI and DOJ may have been coordinating to support Hillary Clinton and harm Donald Trump. Such a scandal could make Watergate look like small potatoes in comparison.
